Rick Kimmes was born and raised in Red Wing, Minnesota, where his family ran Old Fashioned Food, a casual restaurant focusing on homemade breakfast and lunch. Rick took over as Executive Chef of The Oceanaire Seafood Room in 2000. He gives seasonal seminars at the well-known Ludlow's Resort and teaches monthly classes at both Cooks of Crocus Hill and Kitchen Window.
